Family Picnic

The weather was beautiful today so we decided to have a picnic in the UNC Arboretum. We brought our new picnic basket from Judy and filled it with yummy goodies! Moo came along too with her halter and leash. She wouldn't wander very far from her crate, but we think she had fun being out with the birds and squirrels. While we were eating we read all of the marriage advice people wrote us from the shower. Two hours and a parking ticket later, we had a great time :)

Our sweet picnic basket that we love!!

Moo picnicing!

Senior Bar Golf

Thursday was our last day of classes and Senior Bar Golf Night! You were supposed to go to 9 bars (9 hole course) and drink (shoot) certain drinks that would give you the lowest score... We didn't know exactly how to play/ were very full from dinner/ not very thirsty, but we had a lot of fun visiting with friends we met throughout college!

Senior Bell Tower Climb Time

It is the moment I have been waiting for since I was a freshman: climbing the Bell Tower! Because of my early classes (I knew there was a reason I was taking them) I was on campus early enough to be at the front of the line to climb the tower. I heard this afternoon that the line was a quarter mile long! I was able to climb all of the spiral stairs and sign my name at the top!

The pretty bell tower that lets me know when I am late to class

Spiral staircase the whole way up!

Half way there

There were signatures on most of the bricks, some from a very long time ago. In 1992, JSE and OTH got engaged right inside the tower (so says the pole in the middle of the room)! **you can click on the picture to make it bigger to read the pole**

I was there '09!

A Very Green Wedding Shower

Grandma and the Regan Aunts threw me a beautiful shower this past Sunday. I loved all of the green and white decorations and the food was amazing! It was very nice to see everybody... especially all of the cute babies!! I didn't take a single picture but thanks to Aki, I copied these from online :) I received so many wonderful gifts from painted measuring spoons to a green KitchenAid mixer!

Sushi Wednesday

This past Wednesday we went to get sushi with Mike! Apparently no matter how hungry Alex and I think we are, we still cannot finish 7 rolls :)

Easter Bunnies

Happy Easter Weekend! On Saturday, we went to Teresa and Jeff's house for an Easter egg hunt. Sadly, we are not considered kids anymore so we could not join in the hunt! The little cousins were cute with their baskets though! Sunday morning we ate a yummy breakfast at Grandma's house. We had to celebrate in the morning because someone left two book reports and studying for an anatomy exam to the last night and needed the afternoon to do work... LISA :) We had brunch at Alex's parents house. The food was wonderful as usual and so were all the bunny candles.

Easter Bunny came

He even comes for procrastinators :)

Too much Easter candy

Queen City

This weekend, we took a trip down to Charlotte. Alex was able to see his grandparents as they stopped to judge a car show in the city on their way back to Michigan. We watched the wonderful Carolina game with our friend Briton in his new apartment! On our way home Sunday, we found this humongous Crate & Barrel :) It was love at first sight!!
