I just finished up four weeks of inpatient medicine at Hahnemann Hospital and have now moved on to outpatient medicine in Harrisburg. All of the students doing rotations in Harrisburg stay at a house a couple minutes from the hospital. The proximity to the hospital is nice, but fitting nine students into a house with only two bathrooms is a little tight. Four of the students are on their surgery rotation, so we pretty much will never see them. I have two roommates. Jen is doing outpatient medicine with me and Diana is doing inpatient medicine. We each have twin beds and I was super excited to buy cute little twin sheets for my stay :) I forgot my bath towel from home, oops, so I had to go buy a pretty pink towel that would match my sheets :) The house is only one street away from the beautiful river that runs through town and just a few blocks away from a bunch of good restaurants. There are multiple Starbucks stores, Panera Breads, and Barnes and Nobles so I will have plenty of places to study until I go home over the weekends.
My house is the sketchy blue one in the middle.

The living room downstairs.
The downstairs kitchen. There is one bedroom on the first floor as well.
The second floor kitchen where I keep my food! There are three bedrooms on this floor.
My bed on the third floor! It is very comfortable :)
Harrisburg Hospital! Other than for morning and noon conference and the library, the outpatient students don't really come to the hospital.
The view from the hospital!
The outpatient clinic where I spend my days.
Alex came to visit me Wednesday night. We walked around town and had a nice dinner. We are going to try to make it a once a week thing that Alex comes out to Hburg to visit :) The capital building is behind Alex.
Exploring the riverside!
It was such a nice day!
Alex brought me some coffee for my morning cup, but the house didn't have any mugs! We went to Barnes and Noble and got this little Moo mug :)
