Stepping Up to Step 2

I took my USMLE Step 2 exam today... all miserable nine hours of it.  Instead of having five and a half weeks to study for it like last year, I had two weeks and studying caused me to miss Alex's mom's birthday celebrations and the Regan Family Reunion (which I have never missed in my life)!  Danielle and I signed up to take the exam in New Jersey, and like last year, I had some parental help in getting a hotel and a nice dinner the night before.  Hopefully the test went as well as last year!

Horse Farm

Alex has a few nice hats, which I, being a neat freak, have been keeping stacked up in our closet.  The hats kept getting squished so it was time for a new idea.  We decided to get ourselves a horse farm.

Hilary's Twenty-Fifth

Poor Hilary's birthday has fallen during board crunch time again this year :(  But since we did just take our last shelf exam of third year yesterday and our little brains were tired, we decided it was okay to take one night off to celebrate.  We were going to go to Continental for special cocktails since somehow Hilary has gone twenty-five years without ever having a cocktail, but one hour before people were supposed to come over, we decided that wasn't really enough.  Alex and I ran off to the nearest Target and got as many last minute cutie birthday supplies as we could!

  

Pretty pink streamers, cute printed plates and napkins, a cake in a box and a few appetizers later, we had ourselves a little birthday party!  Trying to keep a curious kitten away from the streamers, on the other hand, was a most difficult task :)

The Moody-Davenport Wedding

Elizabeth and Michael got married this weekend!!  The wedding was in Charlotte and was the perfect excuse to make a trip down to the land of the pine.  We were in NC for less than forty-eight hours, but had a wonderful time seeing family and friends we have not seen in forever.  We are counting the days until we can go back :)
