Bryn Mawr College Women's Health

I have spent the last month at Bryn Mawr College working at the student health clinic.  Bryn Mawr is an all girls college situated just outside of Philadelphia.  I originally signed up for the rotation back when Alex was working at the Bryn Mawr Starbucks, just two blocks away from campus.  I was bummed about going out to Bryn Mawr now that Alex works in Flourtown, but the beautiful drive was worth it every day.  It was also very nice to only have to work three days a week!

Lots of stone... almost reminded me of that terrible school a few miles from UNC.

  

I had heard the dining hall looks just like the one from Hogwarts- and it totally does!!

Manayunk on Ice

Alex and I went to Manayunk on Ice this weekend.  We have been meaning to go for the past three years!  Manayunk on Ice is a three day event with master ice carvers who carve ice sculptures live on Main Street.  They make unique sculptures for each of the different shops in Manayunk.

This little guy was our favorite.  It was for a shop that sells eye wear.

  

This sculpture was for a store called The Little Apple.  The carver made the O in the LOVE sign into an apple!

Snowboarding the Poconos

Alex went snowboarding in the Pocono Mountains yesterday.  Our upstairs neighbor, Alex O, went too.  I decided to spend my Saturday sleeping in and staying warm inside.
