Scheer Great Grandparents

Alex's grandparents stopped by for brunch today!  They are on their way to Florida from Michigan.  It was Harper's first time meeting them.  Alex's Aunt Martha came too.  It is always nice to have visitors!

Harper's 1st Pumpkin Patch

Alex and I took Harper to the Carrigan Farms Pumpkin Patch yesterday.  Harper was adorable in her pumpkin outfit from GiGi.  We enjoyed a hayride over to the pumpkin patch where Harper picked her first pumpkin!  We saw baby animals and had yummy apple cider.  It was a perfect fall outing!

Carolina Balloon Fest

We went to a hot air balloon festival in Statesville yesterday!  The weather was perfect without a cloud in the sky.  I stayed up instead of sleeping after work so I was super sleepy, but it was totally worth it.  We had a nice picnic in the grass while waiting for the balloons to launch.  Little girl loved being outside in the shade.  It was an awesome event that we hope to attend next year too!

October Visitors

Alex's family flew all the way from California this weekend to visit!  Harper is one very lucky girl.  She was able to spend time with her cousins, grandparents and Aunt Emily.  We were hoping to take the kids to a pumpkin patch this weekend, but Friday's nice weather didn't last.  We spent Saturday chasing babies around the mall instead :)  We are so very thankful to have family who don't mind traveling so far to visit!
  

We went to Food Truck Friday for dinner Friday night.  The weather was perfect!

Weekend with Gigi and Poppy

We spent this weekend with Gigi and Poppy.  Harper experienced her first hurricane and was not a fan of the rain.  Luckily, the storm was not too bad in Cary.  It made for perfect napping weather.  It was a quick, but nice weekend getaway.

Harper: 3 Months

Harper is three months old!  This little girl has been busy babbling, learning the use of her hands, and smiling.  She loves walks around the neighborhood, baths in our big tub, and story time with daddy.  I started my nights rotation this week, so I only get about two hours a day with the little one.  We are looking very forward to our weekends together as a family!
