Angels

Harper and I traveled to Cary this weekend to celebrate Uncle Paul at the Angels Among Us event at Duke.  This event raises funds for the fight against brain cancer and brought in 2 million dollars this year!  We were able to watch Uncle Paul take his survivor walk and then went out for a wonderful breakfast after the event in downtown Durham.  It was nearly ninety degrees, but we went to Pullen Park for the afternoon where Harper had a blast.

After the boats, we rode the merry-go-round.  Harper picked this pretty horse.

We had dinner with the Groundwaters and Grandma and went for a Goodberry's treat afterwards.

Great Granddad and Lona's 80th Birthday Bash

To finish off the Scheer/Schneider week in Charlotte, we celebrated Great Granddad and Lona's 80th birthdays.  Great Granddad and Lona arrived in Charlotte Friday morning.  We had a barbecue dinner that night and then a fancy lunch party at the Dunhill Hotel on Saturday to celebrate. The party was a great success with a perfectly private room for the celebration, amazing food and an awesome cake.  We had a wonderful time seeing everybody.  Happy birthday Great Granddad and Lona!

Hoppy Easter 2017

Alex's family is visiting Charlotte for the week.  We spent a lovely Easter weekend together.  The Easter Bunny brought the cousins baskets full of chocolate and books.  We had a fun Easter egg hunt this afternoon and Emily made a delicious dinner.  The cousins have been playing together nicely and are so cute to watch!
