We had a busy weekend! It started Friday night with an event at the kid's school. We gathered in the school field to watch a movie. We had pre ordered pizza. It was fun!
We met Kate and Sean and their kids at Windy Hill Apple Orchard Saturday afternoon. I look forward to their apple cider and donuts all year long. This is always our first official fall activity.
The kids each picked a pumpkin.
I took the kids to the Charlotte Museum of Illusions. I have been wanting to go here for a while!
They had a bunch of illusions on the walls as well as fun rooms and interactive pieces.
This was our favorite.
I should have taken another angle of this picture. It was a metal platform in the back and then four metal "legs" in the foreground. From this angle, it looks like a chair.
You had to walk across the platform as the room was spinning. We kept falling to the right side of the walkway and had to lean on the railing.
Different wall designs were visible based on the color of light shining into the room.
Ethan had a colorful shadow!
