We had a busy fall weekend! Friday night, we went to Kate and Sean's house for a Halloween get together. Kate had amazing boards for snacking and the decorations were perfectly spooky! The kids enjoyed getting to spend time with Fitz and Evie. Saturday, we had the Irwin Academy Fall Fest and Trunk or Treat. We signed up to do Trunk or Treat this year and our theme was Retro Halloween. The kids dressed up in their costumes and went trick or treating, played games, walked through a haunted house and played on bounce houses. They had a blast! Alex's mom was kind enough to come watch the kids while Alex and I went to see Messi play against the Charlotte FC. It was an amazing game! We were able to see Messi score, but luckily, it was taken back for being offsides. Charlotte FC won and now get go to the playoffs! We had brunch with friends on Sunday then went to the Carolina Balloonfest in Statesville. Sadly, they couldn't even inflate the hot air balloons due to windy weather.
