It was cold and rainy again Friday and Saturday of this past weekend. A second soccer game was canceled due to rain! I took Alex and the kids to an escape room Saturday for something to do besides sit in the house. It was their first escape room and it was Scooby Doo Themed. The kids had a blast! We didn't end up finishing the puzzle, but were very close. It was a great first family escape room experience! We can't wait to try another one. Frank came over for dinner Saturday night as his family is still in Atlanta. It was sunny, but cold on Sunday so we took a stroll over to Camp North End to hang out.

Spring Weekends
Our lazy winter is definitely over. We have started our busy spring weekends! Ethan and I had a Sonday event Friday night. It was a mother [figure] - son sneaker dance. We dressed up, put on our best sneakers and headed over to the school gym. Alex spent most of Friday setting up for the event.

We had dinner with cupcakes for dessert! They had cute mocktails too!
Ethan and his friend, Ben, had a blast!
They had video games set up for the kids.
Ethan loved playing!
Alex came back after the dance to clean up.
Harper lost a tooth Friday at school so she set up for the Tooth Fairy Friday night.
Harper had her first soccer game of the season Saturday morning. It was so fun to watch her play again! Nanna, Grandad, Emily and Catherine came to watch Harper play.
Alex and I went out for a date Saturday night. I had given Alex tickets to a David Spade comedy show for Christmas. We ate at Supperland before the show and it was amazing.
We had a scouts event at the Raptor Center on Sunday.
We learned about Lou, the owl.

Pinewood Derby
We had a busy weekend! The kids raced their pinewood derby cars Saturday morning with Scouts. Ethan won one of his heats! Ethan's car was The Dog and Harper's car was The Kitty. Ethan placed thirteenth out of thirty-nine and Harper was thirty-fifth. Alex and the kids met a bunch of neighbors at a local brewery later that afternoon. I finally cleaned out our attic, including Ethan's baby crib. We have so much space up there now! On Sunday I met with Courtney and Kate for brunch while Alex and the kids met Sean, Fitz and Evie for a play date. We mulched the yard and had our first spring fire pit!
