We finished up all of our planned Christmas activities this past week!
The kids had a holiday party at Scouts on Monday. They wore pajamas and watched Christmas movies with hot chocolate and treats.
I handed out the treats (and ate a few too!)
I organized our neighborhood's first luminary event. I named it Merry and Bright Walk as our neighborhood is Brightwalk. Other than a couple small bag fires, it was a success! It was a ton of work so I will definitely be doing things a little differently next year. It was fun to come together as a neighborhood to celebrate and see all the beautiful lights.
It wasn't raining, but it was a very windy day which was unexpected. We had a total of 1730 luminaries, 101 houses participating and 700lbs of sand.
We had hot chocolate and pizza in a neighbors yard.
Some neighbors had treats out front!

We went to Light the Knights with the kid's friends. They have pretty holiday light displays throughout the stadium and fun activities on the field.
The kids were pretending to roast marshmallows with the snowmen. I love the view from this stadium.
I love the tubing here!
The kids wanted to go ice skating too.
We went back for more tubing!
Nanna and Grandad took the kids shopping for us so Alex and I had a lunch date at RH Hardware Saturday morning.
Nanna, Emily, Catherine, Harper, Ethan and I went to the Nutcracker Ballet Saturday night. It was Ethan's first time seeing it! They loved it.
