Kia's Birthday

A week ago was Kia's birthday so a few of us from school went out to dinner to celebrate! We went to a sushi place and it was amazing! It was a good last horrah before the horrible month of February exams.

New Stuff

For Christmas, Alex and I got another nightstand for our bedroom from Santa Claus! Mommy wanted to see it in the little room so we took some pictures! It has been very nice having nightstands for both of us! We also finally got some wedding pictures into the "shrine". For some weird reason though, the wall behind the pictures looks even whiter and like it needs to be painted then it did before the pictures were in.

We don't have a lamp for the second nightstand yet, but maybe later!

Alex's Trip Home

When Alex and I went back to North Carolina a couple weeks ago, Alex had to take the car in to the dealership for some work. It turns out they needed to keep the car for a week in order to allow time for an ordered part to arrive. So Alex had to drive back to NC the following weekend to pick up the car. This ended up being lucky because Emily was in town (for the first time since she moved to Minnesota!) I wish I could have gone with Alex because it sounds like he had a blast!

Banana Pudding

I decided to make banana pudding this weekend and use our pretty little bowl from Amy and Kevin! It was a very yummy treat!! Somebody has eaten half of the bowl in just twenty-four hours and because Alex is in North Carolina I cannot blame him...

Shilpa's Baby Shower

This past weekend was a three day weekend, in honor of Martin Luther King Junior Day, so we were able to make it home for Shilpa's Baby Shower! All of the southern aunts came and Bay and Pat flew in too!! We are all very excited to meet the new little addition to our wonderful family, even if Matt and Shilpa refuse to tell us her name :)

Drexel Ball 2010

We went to the Drexel Ball last night and had a blast! We rode the bus over to the Crystal Tea Room in downtown Philly and had free food,drink, and music all night!

Minnesota Christmas

For the second half of our Christmas vacation we went to Minnesota sans the whiny cat. We got to see the store where Emily works and the hospital where Frank works. Both were covered with tons of snow :) Em and Frank were nice enough to make Alex and I an "imagination room" by stringing curtains to section off part of the study. We had an air mattress, tons of covers, and a dog who liked to steal the covers! We rode roller coasters in the Mall of America, went tubing on a giant hill, and ate at lots of yummy restaurants. It was very nice to see all of the Scheers/Schneiders! Hopefully we will see them again soon in a place where the wind chill is not -30 degrees!
