Charlotte Sea Life Aquarium

We took Harper to the Charlotte Sea Life Aquarium today.  Girlie loves fish and could not get over all of the colorful fish she was able to see.  We had a fun time learning about different fish and turtles.

She loved the pot belly seahorses.  We learned that the daddy seahorses carry the babies until they are ready to be born.

Girlie and I made muffins together this morning.  They were delicious!  Harper is quite the kitchen helper these days.

My Gym

I was able to go to My Gym with Harper yesterday.  It was my first time!  Harper has gym class once a week where she can stretch, climb, run, slide and swing.  She loves it!

Huntersville Discovery Place

I took Harper to the Discovery Place in Huntersville today.  Harper has been there before, but I had never been.  It was amazing!  We played for two hours and had a great time.  It was fun to watch Harper explore the different areas and play with all the hands on toys.

  

Harper mowed the grass,

    

learned about turbines at the water table,

    

drove a big fire truck,

   

went cherry picking,

    

drove a tractor through cotton fields,

    

milked a cow,

    

    

checked to see if the chickens had laid any eggs,

    

checked vitals on a baby,

     

    

then stole the baby and jumped in a getaway car at the bank,

    

hopped on a boat,

    

captained a submarine ,

    

and finally drove a race car!  It was a busy morning!

First Day of Spring

I am on my last vacation of residency this week.  The weather was very nice today so we decided to ride our bikes to Freedom Park.  We met David and Ella there and went out for lunch after the kids played.  It was such a beautiful day!

Spring Snow

We woke up to a pretty dusting of snow today on our "spring forward" daylight saving morning.  I had to go to work, but Alex and Harper had a great time playing in the spring snow!

Baby Shower

Harper and I went to Cari's baby shower last weekend in Huntersville.  We had a nice time celebrating baby boy Caden and can't wait to meet him!
