Thanksgiving 2018

We spent this Thanksgiving in Atlanta with the Schneiders.  Harper was one very lucky girl and spent each night of our vacation with her cousins for a sleepover.  Alex, Ethan and I stayed at a hotel.  The Schneiders made a completely gluten free Thanksgiving dinner which was wonderful!  The decorations were beautiful, the menu was perfect and Emily had prepared so many fun activities for the kiddos to do.  In the days following Thanksgiving, we went to the Fernbank Natural History Museum and the Georgia Aquarium.  Harper loved all the dinosaurs at the museum and we all enjoyed the beluga whales and whale sharks.

Saturday night, Emily, Frank, Alex, Ethan and I went out to a lovely dinner.  Ethan slept the entire time!

Ethan: 4 Months

Little man is four months old!  He is growing, growing, growing and almost the size that Harper was at a year!  He has been rolling back to tummy and tummy to back for a few weeks now.  He can even sit himself up, but then quickly falls forward.  He is still sleeping in our room, but will be moving to his room in a month or two.  Ethan is definitely a momma's boy who loves to snuggle, put things in his mouth, and smile.

Wondering if this monkey will fit in his mouth.

Hiking Laurel River Trail

We went up to Asheville this weekend for a last minute getaway.  We stayed with the Shupes in their beautiful mountain house.  We wanted to hike, but Saturday's high was in the 40s and it was quite breezy.  The Shupes helped us pick a trail along a river, nestled between mountains, where we wouldn't be exposed to the wind.  It was a beautiful hike!

3 Year Old Preschool Photos

Harper had preschool photos again.  She declined to wear the cute dress I had initially put her in and picked her own outfit instead.  They let them bring a favorite toy this year so Harper brought her cat, Felix.

Halloween 2018

We had a very nice Halloween this year.  Alex's mom and dad flew in from California yesterday morning to help us celebrate.  Harper started her day with a costume parade at preschool.  She was very excited to see her grandparents in the crowd!  Our prehistoric babies trick or treated around the neighborhood once the sun began to set.  We hit all our favorite houses and Harper ended up with a bag full of candy!

All set to trick or treat!

We have the best neighbors - Pam and Brandy

Dan and Amelia

I love trick or treating at this house!  They make walking tacos for parents - taco meat, cheese and salsa in a bag of Doritos.  It is delicious!

Meghan loves ours little triceratops.

Shari and Mike will have their own little pumpkin next year!
