Alex and I had scheduled a photo session for Harper at the beach this weekend. We made it to the beach a little later than initially planned and the sun was very hot! We quickly became overheated, sweaty, and sandy and Harper girl, understandably, wasn't the most cooperative. I am sure the pictures will still be great. We had planned to spend the rest of the day at the beach before driving back to Cary, but the heat really got to us and it is different being at the beach with a baby without a house or hotel to run back to throughout the day for a break. We ended up leaving after a couple hours, but Harper was able to go for a swim, play in the sand and feed a couple seagulls.

This was the first time in years that we had been back to Wrightsville beach.
