Alex and I took Harper to an apple orchard Saturday afternoon. We had initially planned to go to an orchard in the mountains, but as I was post call and hadn't slept in nearly thirty hours, we decided to stay closer to home. We snacked on the most amazing apple cider donuts and drank fresh cider while exploring the orchard. We found pot belly pigs and chickens who also enjoyed the apples. Even though the temperatures still felt like summer, it was a fun way to get into the fall spirit.

There were little pigs munching on fallen apples.
Harper liked growing at the pigs.
The chickens loved the apples too.
