Katherine and Tessie had their annual gingerbread house competition last night. We had the greatest Regan presence yet this year! It was my job to chase the little one, but Alex represented our team well with a snowman cabin and fire pit gingerbread house - which looked awesome! There was a beach house, a log cabin, the White House, Santa's sled and even a lighthouse this year. Everyone did a wonderful job and the competition was fierce. I am so very thankful that Katherine and Tessie planned the event with my schedule in mind.

The Regan house is always beautiful.
Lisa and Samantha
Our team gingerbread lead
Harper spent twenty minutes rocking her monkey pacifier in this baby's car seat.
Harper took notes from the Regan siblings.
Very intense competition
Harper learned how to use cherry licorice to her advantage.
There was another sweet baby at the party for Harper to play with. They liked taking selfies.
And chatting about politics.
Our cabin was complete with snowmen roasting marshmallows on the fire.
Merry Christmas!
Harper really got into the Christmas spirit tonight.
Cappy's Bar and a train
Katherine's beautiful beach house!
This rendition of the White House was complete with the big wigged D. Trump atop the building and protesters out front. This gingerbread house won the competition's overall category.
Lisa's awesome lighthouse
The gingerbread house on the left was a scene from the Mario Nintendo game (complete with sound) and Samantha's creation on the right is Santa's sleigh (note the use of licorice wording)!
Putin's computer made an appearance as did Allison's quaint log cabin.
The voting was nearly unanimous for the White House for the overall category, the Mario scene for creativity and the Cappy's pool table for best feature.
