We took the kiddos to a drive in movie in Albermarle last night. I don't think it is possible to say the name of that town without sounding southern and slightly hillbilly. We have been going to this theater since before Harper was born and love it. They always offer two double features and half of the cars face the kid movies and the other half face the adult features. Since Harper was born, our car has switched sides. The drive in is an hour away from our house so now that we have kids, we only stay for one movie. We always bring tons of snacks, blankets and pillows. The first kid movie playing last night was Hotel Transylvania 3. Harper loved it!! She sat on the edge of the trunk all night laughing.
Harper was queen of the playground before the movie started. She was the leader of a group of kids even though she was the youngest. We could hear her barking orders from our car. There was a lot of running from dinosaurs and volcanos.
This is what date night looks like now - hot, sleepy parents drinking wine out of cans in the back of the car - we love it.
Ethan found a new favorite nap place.
Alex had to round up the playground queen for dinner.
