The little man is ten months old! His two upper front teeth are currently coming in to join the bottom two teeth. He is growing, growing, growing finally after being sick for what seemed like five months! It is rough being the little brother who catches every germ big sister brings home. Ethan loves to stand and is now walking with a walker toy. He has discovered clapping and dancing. He still enjoys drumming on any and everything, playing with big sister's toys, and being held by mommy. He rode on two planes this month and did wonderfully on both!

Colorado Springs
We spent Memorial Day weekend in Colorado! Our first stop was in Denver with the Prommersbergers and Pfeffers. I had not seen Ellen and Justin since their wedding six years ago! Harper had a blast playing with Jakob. We only spent one night in Denver, then headed to Colorado Springs the next morning. Harper was so very excited to see Lisa. She was lucky enough to have three nights of sleepovers in Lisa's big fluffy bed! Ethan enjoyed crawling after the cats, although you would have thought he would learn a lesson after being swiped in the face by Tullie. We went on adventures each day we were there and had a wonderful time. Sami was in town for a traveling nursing job so we were happy to get to see her too!
We had to stop by Dinosaur Ridge in Denver so Harper could see real life dinosaur foot prints!
Jakob and Harper
Our first stop in Colorado Springs was Garden of the Gods.
We love to hike and Lisa was a good sport to play along with us all weekend!
Harper loves to climb!
After Garden of the Gods, Lisa was scheduled to go to a birthday party for a friend's daughter. We tagged along and Harper had a fantastic time! The party was at a petting zoo. There were pony rides, animals to pet, a jumping bubble, smores, and tasty treats!
We hiked Mount Cutler Trail on Sunday.
The views were stunning.
We had an ice cream treat after hiking!
Our last day in Colorado Springs, we went to the Cave of the Winds to explore.
The tour was great!
Our next stop was the Manitou Cliff Dwellings. It was no Mesa Verde, but Harper had fun exploring.
Our last hike was Red Rocks Open Space. It was a quick hike with beautiful views.
