Last week was a very busy week for us. It started with Harper's first violin recital. She has been attending weekly lessons for the past several months and has been doing very well! She had a perfect recital, but when the big day came, she was too afraid to get on stage, understandably. I was able to join Harper at school on Thursday for Muffins with Mom. I missed it last year, so I was very excited to be able to go this year! We went back into Uptown a couple times this weekend to see more of the Charlotte Shout event, a celebration of 250 years of Charlotte. It was fun exploring all of the exhibits. We had dinner plans with friends Saturday so Harper and I made a yummy banana cake. For Mother's Day, we rode our bikes into Uptown for lunch.

Harper requested that we go back to the seesaws again.

Harper does a very good job baking!
And sampling!
A little lopsided, but it was delicious!
Ready to bike into Uptown!
Ethan had a great time learning to go up stairs on these super safe cement blocks...
