We went to Asheville this past weekend for Tessa and Jeremy's wedding. We stayed in a cabin with my family. It was a short, but wonderful getaway. The mountains were beautiful with the leaves starting to change. We had several encounters with bears around our cabin (from a safe-ish distance). It was fun to see everyone.
The kids actually stayed in their own room every night! They slept on the top bunk and did great!
The bride and groom!
Harper was thrilled to spend time with Lily.
The little guys did great on the dance floor!
We loved the fireplace in our room. I am excited for fires at home now!
Bear visitors!
We went to Bay and Brad's house to visit the day after the wedding. This is my favorite view.
We had a family cookout that night at one of the cabins. Our house was close enough to the party to walk through the woods. We encountered a real bear on the way there and a fake bear on the way back.
We did a beautiful hike with Mom and Dad on Sunday in Montreat.
There was some intense rock scaling on the hike.
We went out to eat in Black Mountain after the hike.
