We had another busy weekend! I took the kids to the community pool near our house Friday afternoon. We ended up staying until it closed at six! Harper rode the slide several times and we had an ice cream treat. Our friends, who we haven't seen since before the pandemic, were in town from Durham this weekend. They were staying at the Great Wolf Lodge and invited us to meet them at the water park on Saturday. We stayed the whole day and had a blast! Harper enjoyed the wave pool and riding the huge slides. Ethan loved the little slides (which were bigger than anything he has done before) and the wave pool. After the lodge, we came home, showered and were back out the door to make it to the Charlotte FC soccer game. Our neighbors have season tickets with great seats and gave us their tickets this weekend. Charlotte FC won the game! We love the fireworks they shoot off with each goal and win!

Harper spends her time in the wave pool where the waves are the highest. It is over her head so she treads water or hangs on to the side. Luckily, she is a very good swimmer!
