We had a busy Labor Day Weekend and believe it or not, I was on call for 48 hours of this long weekend! My new private practice life is truly living the dream. My hours are a million times better and even when I am on call, I can be at home. We had a baby shower for two wonderful moms-to-be Saturday night. We celebrated Lara and Ashley and their soon-to-arrive little ones. I was on call for the shower, but because it was within fifteen minutes of the hospital, Alex, Harper and I could all go. We had a great time seeing old friends. We spent Sunday afternoon and night with Cari and Joe for a cookout and fireworks show at the White Water Center. Harper liked seeing five month old Cayden again and playing with his toys. Monday we went to visit Rachael and Deane's newbie, Ben, then had a cookout with our neighbors Jen and Dan. It was a busy weekend and I am so happy that I could be a part of it all!
Baby shower for Lara and Ashley!
Lara and Harper
Harper liked handing out the presents.
Harper was a big fan of Cayden's dog. She chased him all over the yard!
White Water Center
Girlie spent the entire night climbing rocks and making friends with little girls.
We like to sit behind the stage because there is more room for Harper to run around.
Cayden was ready for fireworks!
Baby Ben
We made homemade nutmeg ice cream for our Labor Day dinner dessert.
