Alex, Harper and I went to the Zoo in Ashboro today with the goal of starting some contractions. We failed to induce labor after walking around for two and a half hours, but did have a blast with Harper and the animals. It is nice to go to the zoo on a weekday when it is significantly less crowded. There was no humidity and the high was in the eighties. It was a perfect day for the zoo!
We love zebras!
Harper decided elephants are her favorite animal (in addition to kitty cats).
We have a picture of Harper crawling in these eggs two years ago!
We were very excited to feed the giraffes.
They were very hungry.
We liked the air conditioning in the aviary.

The grizzly bear only had a little fur left on the top of his head. It must be very hot to be a bear in North Carolina in the summer!
