Festival Weekend

The weather this month has been wonderful so we have been taking advantage of our weekends outside.  We had another full schedule this week.

I am still trying to get the kids to expand their palates so we had an edible dinosaur volcano night this week.

They ate the dinosaurs and a few trees, but no volcano or lava.

Harper went to a sleepover Friday night so Ethan and I became Halloween bakers.

Ethan made deliciously spooky cupcakes!

LuLu got into the Halloween spirit while we were baking.

We made spooky jello too!

Harper and her friends played outside at the creek.

They explored neighborhood Halloween decorations.

They made nachos.

And they made bracelets.  Harper started to feel ill, however, so she came home.

Both kids had soccer games Saturday morning.

Then we headed to Irwin Academy for Owl Fest with Trunk-or-Treat.  We made a Jurassic Trunk for the kids to trunk-or-treat!

We had scary dinosaur noises playing in the background.

The other trunks were great too!

I scared some kids in this costume.

The festival had a fire truck to explore, a haunted room to walk through, a pumpkin patch, a pie the teacher experience and tons of cute games.

On Sunday, the kids and I met Sami, Keven and Rory at Carolina Balloonfest.  It was a gorgeous day!

The kids enjoyed meeting our newest Regan family member!

So great to see them!
