We got into the Halloween spirit this past week! We went on a walking ghost tour of Charlotte with the kids and Alex's dad this past Tuesday. We loved it! I learned a lot of Charlotte history including stories about the original Charlotte medical school and hospital that are now condos in Uptown and the bodies the students stole from the cemetery for dissection! The kids loved the spooky stories initially, but Ethan had trouble sleeping that night!
Our tour guide was amazing.
We learned a couple stories about Ethan's presschool in the back of this photo. He was flabbergasted to learn about ghosts he had been walking around with.
On Friday night, we took the kids trick-or-treating at Camp North End. I always love this event! Every vendor at Camp has candy to hand out.
After trick-or-treating, Alex and I met friends at a comedy club to see one of my favorite comedians, Zoltan. The kids were able to spend time with the grandparents while we were out.
There was a photographer at the event who took these photos.
Lulu has a new hiding spot!
The kids both had soccer games Saturday morning. Ethan played against his best friend, Ben.
After soccer, the kids had curling practice at the club.
Ethan loves to sit at the bar after practice for snacks.
After curling, we went to Optimus Hall for a celebratory birthday lunch for Emily.
Happy birthday!
We went to a neighbor's Halloween party Saturday night. The kids had a blast!
We went to get pumpkins on Sunday for carving. We are excited for Halloween in a few days!
I took the kids for Halloween donuts after getting pumpkins. It finally felt like fall!
