It has been a very busy couple of weeks!  I have worked the past couple of weekends so there are likely more pictures missing!

School has been wrapping up and fitting tons of activities into the days left.  The kids had a Fun Run to raise money for the school.  They reached their goal and got some exercise in the process!

Harper's soccer team has had a few guest coaches over the past couple weeks.  They had several players from a local high school varsity team come help.

Alex and I were able to have lunch with the kids one day last week.  It is so cute to see them with their friends.

Ethan's friends are goofballs.

Lulu enjoying her new perspective.

The music teacher put together a concert with the first and second graders that was absolutely adorable.  They did such an amazing job!

Apparently Ethan was on the school board for wining points for his "house".  In Kindergarten, the kids are placed into one of four houses based on their character traits and can win points for their house throughout the year based on good deeds, kindness or academic achievements.

I built furry steps for Lulu to make it up and down from Harper's bed.  She learned how to use them quickly!

The forth and fifth graders went to the Panther's stadium to meet the players and coaches.  Harper got a few autographs!

Harper and Alex ran with my family in the Angels Among Us event last weekend for brain cancer.  I missed the race, but was able to catch the family walk.  It was also our celebration of Uncle Paul's 20 years of survivorship.

Chris and Paul hosted a lovely dinner in celebration of Uncle Paul at Second Empire in Raleigh last Saturday night.  It was a special night and we were all so happy to be there.

Several years ago I redid the coat closet, but never truly liked it.  The closet is small, but had a lot of under utilized space.  I decided to design a new space with California Closets.

It is still small, but much more organized and better utilized!

We have space for all of our coats.  The kids each have a cubby for their school backpacks.  There are drawers for winter accessories and space for all the shoes.

Poor Lulu would love nothing more than to be an outside cat, but sadly we do not think she would do well.  We usually put her out on a leash, but she has been escaping more and more.  We decided to put together a catio.  It was more work than I anticipated.

She is still getting used to it.

Harper played well at her game this weekend.
