London is Always a Good Idea

Alex's parents had invited us to meet them in London over spring break.  We happily agreed!  We flew out from Raleigh Friday night and landed in London Saturday morning.  Our flight left a couple hours late after a fueling issue and for the first time ever, I had planned something too close to our original landing time that we missed it!  We quickly pivoted to plan B and it worked out fine!

The kids loved the taxis in London, although we tried to use the Underground more often.  They had fold down seats facing the opposite direction and this was always a hit.

We didn't sleep well on the flight over.

Many of the store fronts had beautiful Easter decorations.

We had a quick bite to eat after we stored our luggage at a train station.  Ethan loved these mini pizza slices.

We rested in a park while waiting for my plan B bus tour.

We had a tea tour bus scheduled!  I thought it would be a good way to have a quick overview of the big sights in London while enjoying some tea.

Our bus was Easter themed.

The fatigue set in for some of us.

After our tour, we picked up our luggage then headed to our airbnb.

This room was for the kids.  They have such trouble sleeping that it ended up being my and Ethan's room.

This was Michele and Dave's room.

This ended up being Alex and Harper's room.

We headed out to the London Eye for our next adventure.

Harper's first time in London was nearly ten years ago.

We stayed near Leicester Square and it was an amazing location.  It was always busy and people watching was great.  The Underground station was fifty meters away.
