Mega-Metabolism

We have a huge biochemistry exam this coming Wednesday on parts of metabolism. To study, I make metabolism flow charts. This is why I have no life! You can click on the picture to make it bigger and learn about carbohydrate, amino acid, and fatty acid metabolism :)

Baby Visit

Christina, Connor, Ella, and Juliette came to New Jersey today! We had dinner at Pat and Dennis' house to go visit with the little cousins. Ella was cute as always and her new baby sis was very cute and tiny!

Game Night

Dave and Jeanyoung came over for dinner and a game this past Saturday night. They brought Settlers of Catan and despite the fact that we were all enemies by the end of the game, it was still a really fun time! JY was the only one winning in this picture, which is why she is the only one with a big smile :)

Tis the Day for Bank Robberies

While trying to get a money order today for Alex's teaching certification, WE STUMBLED ONTO A BANK ROBBERY CRIME SCENE!!! The local PNC bank that we go to was robbed a few minutes before we got there. The entire place was swarming with cops (including those on segways) and news station crews. We were lucky that we had not arrived a little earlier or we would be stuck in the bank for questioning! It was a pretty neat scene, but sadly, we could not get our money order there :) So we drove to the nearest post office instead. Then on our way home, we drove by ANOTHER BANK ROBBERY SCENE!! Family Weekend

This past weekend, Debbie, Bob and the kids were up north visiting family. We were able to see them on Friday night at Barbara and Keith's house and again on Saturday at Pat and Dennis' house. We had not seen Barbara or Keith since we moved to Philly so it was a treat to see them as well :) The Prices hosted a very Halloweeny dinner with orange and black decorations all over the place. We ate yummy spiral ham and Den's homemade apple sauce!

Kamy and Finch Visit Philly!

Last week, Amy, Kevin, and Alex Finch came to visit! They were in town to see two concerts at the Electric Factory. Alex and I were very excited to have our friends come see our new city!! A few crazy pushing fans, a couple cheesesteaks (whiz included), and a bunch of touristy stops later, I think everybody had a great time. Hopefully they can come back and visit soon!

Groundwater Dinner

Aunt Chris, Uncle Paul, and Colin came to dinner last Saturday night! Alex made cheese souffle and creme brulee for dessert. It was a very yummy dinner! We had a great time seeing the Groundwaters and using more of our fun wedding gadgets! We are seeing them again in a few weeks at Colin's school play :)
