Boston

We went up to Boston this weekend for Eric and Andrea's wedding!  It was a quick trip, but we had a lovely time visiting with the Schneiders and Scheers and celebrating the newlyweds.

The family went to a fun children's museum on Friday to entertain the kids.  I stayed back to study along with Frank, who was writing a paper.

We went to a beautiful park on Saturday morning with a great view of downtown Boston.  We met up with Ellen and Justin and their kiddos for the playdate.

After the park, we made sure to eat some Boston seafood!

Emily and Ellen at the wedding!

Each table was designated by a bag of chips (which was, in fact, on the table to eat)!  This was certainly my type of wedding!

Girlie only poses in ballet formations now.

Ethan had too much fun!

The first dance!

Harper and her cousins had an amazing time at the wedding.  They were dancing and running laps around the venue all night long!

Little man needed a nap before he could start dancing.

Cary

I took a week of vacation last week to attend a board review course.  It was intense!  Alex and the kids went to Cary for the weekend.  It sounds like there was a lot of baking (for Harper), exploring (for Ethan), and playing (for all)!

Lisa and Andrew were in town Friday night.

Mom, Dad, Alex and the kids went to Pullen Park on Saturday.

Ethan loves merry-go-rounds.  After four years of riding merry-go-rounds, Harper has decided she no longer likes them.

Harper does love the kiddie boats!

Ethan will eat anything and everything.

Atlanta

I am currently studying for my oral boards in November and have been somewhat preoccupied.  Alex and the kids went to Atlanta a couple weekends ago so that I would have time to study during my call weekend.  Alex and co. will probably be looking for more exciting weekend adventures until my exam is over.  I am finally posting pictures from their fun excursion!

Out to lunch with the family!

I love the Atlanta Aquarium.  I am sorry I missed the experience as it is so amazing!

1st Day of 4 Year Old Preschool

Girlie had her first day of preschool yesterday.  She was excited to be back at school, but is missing her best friend who is going to a new school this year.

Nanna and Grandad Visit Charlotte

We were especially lucky this weekend to have a second set of visitors!  Alex's parents came up from Atlanta to visit as well.  The kids thoroughly enjoyed spending time with their grandparents.  Alex and I were able to go out on a date night too!

Brunch at my current favorite restaurant, La Belle Helene.

Alex and I had a fun date night on Saturday.  These deviled eggs with peaches were amazing!
