Ethan's Alphabet Boot Camp - B

B is for ball!

Buoyancy

The kids loved this experiment.  An orange with its peel is more buoyant than without its peel.

Apparently there is no difference between hard boiled versus regular eggs.

We made boats out of clay to see which design would exhibit buoyancy.

Harper's worked!

Baking banana bread

It was sadly not as yummy as Grandma's banana bread.

Bubbles

Ethan made bubbles out of different shaped pipe cleaner wands.

Ethan's Alphabet Boot Camp - A

We have enjoyed Ethan's time at preschool, but don't think he has really learned as much as he needs to go into Kindergarten this year.  We have brought back Mommy School and are starting with Ethan's Alphabet Boot Camp.

Airplanes

Charlotte Douglas Airport has a neat spot where you can watch airplanes take off and land.  We picked a picnic dinner and had a field trip for Mommy School.

Spring Weekends

We had a busy weekend with beautiful spring weather.  Friday night, we met friends at Heist brewery outside of our neighborhood.  They used to be our neighbors so the kids were excited to see their old friend.  Harper had a soccer game Saturday morning and did very well and then had her first sleepover that night.  Sunday, we went strawberry picking.

Harper's first sleepover!

Little man felt a little left out, so we walked to Camp North End for treats.

We had hamburgers and hot dogs outside for dinner.

S'mores for dessert!

We walked to Camp North End for breakfast on Sunday.  Harper brought a suitcase stuffed animals.

We got a ton of strawberries!  I have already made frozen smoothies for myself and prepared a week of strawberry oatmeal.  The kids are excited for the weird-shaped strawberries in their lunches!
