Hilary and Shawn's Wedding Weekend

Hilary and Shawn got married this weekend at the Bluewater Lodge in New Hampshire!  It rained the entire weekend, but that did not stop anyone from having an amazing time.  The more rain on the wedding day, the better the marriage :)  This was also the last weekend that Hilary, Danielle and I would all be together, so it was extra bittersweet.  What a perfect way to end a great four years.  The wedding was fantastic and we are so excited for the new bride and groom!

Alex and I stayed at this cute little cabin just behind the lodge.  We felt super special having an entire cabin to ourselves!

Our back deck overlooked the lake.

The view from the deck was amazing!

We caught the only thirty seconds of sunlight all weekend in this picture.

The wedding was planned to take place at the top of a hill overlooking the lake.  The view was beautiful!

 Rehearsing

We sat with the groom at the rehearsal dinner.

Bridesmaids, Amy and Sarah, prepared this wonderful breakfast for us to enjoy the morning of the wedding.

My wedding hairdo!  I loved it!!

Hilary made this pretty bird cage veil herself!

 Champagne in the lodge!

 Hilary's dress was gorgeous.

The lodge all decorated!  Hilary and Shawn spent so much time on every detail of their wedding.  It was amazing watching it all come together.

They found and collected these old medicine bottles and obstetrics and gynecology textbooks.

The place settings were adorable.

Due to the rain, we had to make last minute wardrobe changes.  We all wore rain boots to the wedding!

Hilary had her own pretty rain boots!

The rain would not let up for Hilary and Shawn's ceremony, but we went up the hill anyway and made the best of it.  It was beautiful.

Hilary and Shawn snuck off during the reception to take a little cruise in the lake.

It was so cold that the rain turned into snow during the reception!

Sparkler exit!  Congratulations Hilary and Shawn!!

Pittsburgh for Pascha

Emily and Frank got a new puppy a few weeks ago and named her Pascha.  We were dying to meet the new little girl so we drove out to Pittsburgh for a quick visit.  She was cute, wiggly, and silly and we loved her!

Drexel University College of Medicine Class of 2013

I have spent the past four years making the best of friends and creating memories that I will cherish forever.  I cannot believe medical school has finally come to an end.  It feels like just yesterday that Nick and Lisa were helping Alex and I move into our East Falls apartment.  My time at Drexel has been mentally, emotionally and physically challenging, but it has truly been a wonderful four years.  On to our next four year adventure!

I was one of the lucky students who had an alumni to hood them at graduation!  Uncle Dennis graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1976.  He has hooded Christina, Dave and now me!

Lisa flew to Philadelphia after working all night to be at my graduation!

The most supportive husband in the world!

Uncle Paul was also able to make it!

Alex, me, Kia and Emily

We graduated at the Kimmel Center in Center City, Philadelphia.  It was beautiful!

Walking across the stage!

Uncle Dennis was much better at hooding than most of the professors!

Dr. Farabaugh was my adviser, mentor and inspiration to become an Ob Gyn!

Aunt Bay and Tessa were extremely nice and drove all the way from Tennessee for graduation.  We were not even sure we would have enough tickets for them, but luckily, it all worked out :)

One of my New Jersey families, Aunt Pat and Uncle Den.

After graduation, we went out for lunch at Marathon on the Square.  It was fantastic!

We walked over to Rittenhouse Square after lunch for some pictures in the park.

Alex's family sent me the most beautiful flowers!  They could not come to graduation, but were able to watch it live through a webcam!

We had a graduation party at the Price household Saturday night.  Barbara, Keith, Hannah and Jack were able to come up from Yardley and Dennis and his new girlfriend came down from New York.  Aunt Pat ordered the coolest cake I have ever seen!!  Not only did it have an amazing design, but it also tasted fantastic with chocolate and raspberry flavors.

Before we cut the cake, everyone said their own little toast to me.  It was the sweetest thing!  Thank you to everyone who made my graduation weekend so special.
