Angels Among Us 2019

We took a road trip in the new mini over to Cary this past weekend for the 2019 Angels Among Us event to celebrate my Uncle Paul.  We had beautiful weather!  The event was lovely and inspirational and we were happy to support our survivor.  Harper was happy to snack on beignets and play in the blow up bouncy houses.  After the event, we headed to Guglhupf, our favorite German café in Durham, for lunch.  After failing to convince Ethan to nap, we explored the WRAL azalea gardens in the afternoon.  We had a delicious dinner with the Groundwaters Saturday night followed by pumpkin and lemon pie at Grandma's house for dessert!  Harper and Ethan were visited by the Easter Bunny again on Sunday, complete with an Easter egg hunt!  Harper was on cloud nine!

Ethan: 9 Months

My monkey is nine months old!  He is always on the move and loves to pull to stand.  His favorite things are his Momma, being held by his Momma and getting milk from his Momma.  He loves eating anything with banana or anything he finds on the floor.  He likes to purposely pull on the blinds and try to eat our shoes, very similar to a puppy!  Our poor little man has had back to back colds, ear infections, and now a bout of pneumonia, but is still the most pleasant baby you will ever meet.

Atlanta Easter Bunny Hop

We headed down to Atlanta this past weekend to celebrate Easter with the Scheers and Schneiders.  After a week of warm temps and beautiful sunny skies, we were met with cold and rainy weather this weekend, unfortunately.  Luckily, Emily had prepared fun activities for the kids!  Harper dyed Easter eggs, participated in an Easter egg hunt, and watched a movie about the Easter Bunny.  On Saturday, we went to a fun indoor play space for the kids to get some energy out.  Harper had a blast!  It was a short trip, but it was nice to see our family!
