NC State Baseball

We went to the Knights baseball stadium tonight for the NC State versus UNC Charlotte baseball game.  This was Harper's first time with her own seat.  She was very well behaved!  She snacked on cotton candy and Swedish fish and loved when the crowd cheered for nice hits.  We are very excited to go to more games in the future!

Horsing Around

I have always wanted to take a horse carriage ride through Uptown and we were finally able to do it this weekend!  We tried to take our carriage ride on Friday, but nap time and a long wait got in our way.  We came back today and had a nice ride through the city.  Harper loved the horse and wanted to feed him her grape snacks.

We stopped by Discovery Place on Friday while waiting for the horses to arrive.

Charlotte Sea Life Aquarium

We took Harper to the Charlotte Sea Life Aquarium today.  Girlie loves fish and could not get over all of the colorful fish she was able to see.  We had a fun time learning about different fish and turtles.

She loved the pot belly seahorses.  We learned that the daddy seahorses carry the babies until they are ready to be born.

Girlie and I made muffins together this morning.  They were delicious!  Harper is quite the kitchen helper these days.

My Gym

I was able to go to My Gym with Harper yesterday.  It was my first time!  Harper has gym class once a week where she can stretch, climb, run, slide and swing.  She loves it!

Huntersville Discovery Place

I took Harper to the Discovery Place in Huntersville today.  Harper has been there before, but I had never been.  It was amazing!  We played for two hours and had a great time.  It was fun to watch Harper explore the different areas and play with all the hands on toys.

  

Harper mowed the grass,

    

learned about turbines at the water table,

    

drove a big fire truck,

   

went cherry picking,

    

drove a tractor through cotton fields,

    

milked a cow,

    

    

checked to see if the chickens had laid any eggs,

    

checked vitals on a baby,

     

    

then stole the baby and jumped in a getaway car at the bank,

    

hopped on a boat,

    

captained a submarine ,

    

and finally drove a race car!  It was a busy morning!
