Cemetery Cinema

Last night, the Laurel Hill Cemetery of Philadelphia hosted a movie night.  It was a double feature.  The first movie was a found home movie that was shot in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in the early 1900s.  It was about the exhumation of a deceased wealthy Philadelphian whose will had mysteriously gone missing and was presumed to be in her grave.  The second movie was Plan Nine from Outer Space, more commonly known as, "The Worse Movie Ever Made."  It also took place in a cemetery.  We packed our chairs, blankets, and snacks and set up to watch the movies over the graves.  It was great!

Arriving at the cemetery and parking on the path that runs along the graves!!

Walking over to the movie area.  Creepy!!

Picking out our spot!

Luckily we got there before it was too crowded so that we could get a decent spot.

We decided to sit with Mr. Ellis.

His neighbor tomb was very pretty.

Our group of grave sitters.

Creepy angel near by that reminded us of Dr. Who.

Waiting for the movie to start!

Steve is not very good at taking pictures.

The movie!

I wanted a picture with a tomb stone and the first one I picked had Charlotte carved on it!  Maybe it is a sign!!

Walking back to the car.
