Women's March Charlotte

Harper and I marched in the Charlotte Women's March yesterday with our neighbors and friends.  Harper is too little to remember this event in particular, but Alex and I want to instill certain values and teach her important lessons from a young age.  She will grow up knowing that you should never stay silent when you know something is wrong.  She'll treat everyone she meets with respect and equality and will be inspired by others' differences, not frightened or offended.  Harper will grow up knowing how intelligent, important, and unique she is and that her gender will in no way inhibit her from becoming whoever and whatever she desires.

Here's to strong women.
May we know them.
May we be them.
May we raise them.

Getting ready to join the march!
