Kate, Aishwarya and I went to the Fighting for Women with Fashion event tonight in Charlotte. The event raises money for the Victim Assistance and Legal Representation Program which assists victims of domestic violence. This annual event has raised more than $240,000 for Safe Alliance and is attended by doctors and attorneys in the Charlotte area. We had fun and ran into a few old attendings and residents.

Dr. Beurskens was one of my favorite attendings from residency and is a committee co-chair for the event.
