Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

We started this weekend with more pumpkin extravaganzas.  We went to the Hall Family Farm outside of Charlotte to visit another pumpkin patch.  I timed the visit pretty poorly, however.  We left our house at rush hour Friday afternoon and it took an extraordinarily long time to reach our second pumpkin patch of the season secondary to the traffic.  Harper fell asleep during the long car ride and was an absolute bear when she woke up upon arrival.  She spent the first forty-five minutes crying.  The reason I had planned the visit was to get Harper the Hall Family Farm special - an apple cider donut sundae.  Harper refused to try it!  Don't worry, it didn't go to waste.  I ate the whole thing myself!  We wandered around the pumpkin patch in ninety degree weather (even past six o'clock at night) searching for the perfect second round of pumpkins for Harper.  She finally decided on a small apple-sized pumpkin.  We went on a hay ride around the farm as well which girlie did enjoy.

Saturday, Harper and I got pedicures together.  Harper did great and sat in her own chair!  Later that afternoon, we went to a special first birthday party for old colleague's daughter.  Of course the party was pumpkin themed!
