We went up to Asheville this weekend for a last minute getaway. We stayed with the Shupes in their beautiful mountain house. We wanted to hike, but Saturday's high was in the 40s and it was quite breezy. The Shupes helped us pick a trail along a river, nestled between mountains, where we wouldn't be exposed to the wind. It was a beautiful hike!

We had snacks on the riverside and enjoyed the sun.
Someone refused to ride in the backpack or walk on the way back.
