Happy Father's Day 2019

We had a nice time celebrating Father's Day yesterday.  I took the kids to Jetton Park in Cornelius for a picnic lunch and stroll through the beautiful trails while Alex enjoyed some kid-free time.  We went out for ice cream after the park and Harper picked a dinosaur cookie ice cream.  Back at home, Alex had pulled out the sprinklers for some fun in the afternoon sun.  Ethan had his first swimsuit debut.  We all had a nice Father's Day.

Ethan's first time playing in the sand.  He decided he does not like the taste of sand.

Harper spent most of her time on the beach playing in the water.

Heart-shaped sandwiches!

They had a bunch of these little decks lining the water for private eating spaces.  We had a snack overlooking the lake.

The entire trail is about a mile and a half and, thankfully, in the shade.

We had more snacks at the playground.

Harper likes to attack with her "broccoli-saurus."

Ethan likes the little sprinklers.
