Regan Un-Union 2020

We had a wonderful week in Isle of Palms.  It was the 2020 Regan Un-Union with less than half of our usual crowd, but we all had a fantastic time nonetheless.  It was so nice to see family after such a long time apart.  My crew celebrated three birthdays at the beach.  We have all had enough sweets to last the next year.  Harper was the ultimate fish.  She could not get enough of the water.  She boogie boarded, swam, boated and played in the surf.  As if that wasn't enough, our house had a pool that Harper swam in every day after the beach.  By the end of the week, she could swim the length of the pool underwater!  Ethan was terrified of the beach the first couple days, but came around by the end of the week.  We were lucky enough to see an alligator this trip!  It was also lucky that he didn't want to eat the kids.  I can't believe the beach week went by so quickly, but we say that every time :)

Harper loved her boogie board, a birthday gift from Lisa and Andrew.

Happy birthday brownies for Alex!

Our house had a golf cart we could use to get to and from the beach.  The kids loved it!  Okay, I loved it.

Ethan usually spent the first two hours at the beach sleeping.

The pool!

Harper decorated cookies.

I love all the greenery at Isle of Palms.

We played outside with the kids' scooters and Harper's new bike.

Tessie won a well deserved award for organizing the weekly Regan zoom calls throughout the pandemic.

The cousins took Harper out on the boat for a ride.

Ethan helped Andrew dig to China.

Once he started digging, Ethan began to enjoy the beach and venture out from our umbrella towards the water.  It was groundbreaking for him.

I was the official napping spot.

We had a mini party for Ethan's second birthday.  It was puppy-themed, of course.

We had doggie bags for the kids.

There were dog ears for the guests to wear.

I loved the puppy theme.

We savored every moment on the beach the last day.

We had banana pudding for my birthday.  It is one of my favorite desserts!  Alex and my friend, Matt, came to visit Friday night.  He used to work with me at CMC and now lives in Charleston.
