We had a cook out with the Scheers at our house then went over to Romare Bearden Park in Uptown for fireworks. Alex and his dad went over four hours before the fireworks started in order to secure a spot. It gets very crowded! The fire works were definitely worth it!
The kids and I got there with time to eat snacks.
