I was able to be Harper's guest Girl Scout leader last night. The girls earned their scientist badge by learning about the scientific method, safety in science and participating in three fun experiments. We made lava lamps (density & polarity), played with dry ice (sublimation) and made backyard geysers (nucleation sites) from soda and mentos. Harper was a great helper! It was fun to plan the meeting and put together cute scientist goody bags with safety goggles, a notebook, pen and stickers.
