Baking Spirits Bright

We had a wonderful weekend getting into the Christmas spirit.  I was fighting a GI bug, but we didn't let that spoil any of our fun!  Gigi came to visit for a couple days this weekend.  Gigi and I wrapped all the kid's presents on Friday.  Such a relief to have that done!  We went to the Ballantyne hotel Friday afternoon for Holiday Tea.  We had live Christmas music, delicious holiday tea and the most perfect platter of tea sandwiches and desserts.  Harper had a Christmas cookie decorating party Saturday morning.  It was my first time meeting a lot of Harper's friends and their parents.  It was such a cute party!  Thank goodness Gigi was there to help me with it.  On Sunday, we went over to Camp North End for a late lunch and ice skating.  It was great!  Hopefully we can make our way back over there again this season!

We started with lunch.

It didn't take long before they wanted to start decorating the cookies!

There were sprinkles everywhere, but the girls had a blast!

Harper is our ramen lover.

Harper had fallen earlier and got a bloody knee.  She didn't want her pant leg touching her boo boo.

I caught Ethan mid fall!  I think we ended up skating for over an hour!

I got hot apple cider after ice skating and the kids got popcorn.

We watched other people skating while we ate our snacks.

We love Camp North End and are so happy we can walk here!
