We haven't done too much over the past couple weeks. It was warm for a day or two and has been otherwise chilly and rainy. There are snowflakes in the forecast for this week so we will see how that turns out. We have started a countdown to spring break - fifty-five more days!
We have been getting into family games. Lu is a great cheerleader.
Harper lost a tooth! I didn't even realize it was loose. Both of the children only loose their teeth while I am on call. I had to sneak home to help Alex with fairy business.
The kids like to make elaborate set ups for the Tooth Fairy.
The kids met cousins to explore a park in Charlotte.

We went to a Super Bowl party last Sunday night. I made these deliciously cute brownies to bring. We had a great time!
We made use of a sunny day to play on Brightwalk's new playground.

We had one day warm enough for ice cream at Camp North End!
The kids have discovered comic books.
Alex and I went out for lunch on Valentine's Day. We ate at Mariposa and loved it!
We finished lunch in time to go to Ethan's Valentine's party at school.
We ordered Valentine's Day Crumbl cookies for a Valentine's treat for the kids.
We had heart-shaped pizza for dinner!
The kids got tons of Valentine's Day cards!
Alex and Harper went for a bike ride. Ethan and I walked to Camp North End.
We enjoyed the sun!
We met Michele, Dave, Emily and co. at the Bojangles Coliseum for a Checkers Ice Hockey game. It was great!
There was a Carl Scheer sign!
Emily had invited us as part of a Matthews Elementary School event. Ethan and I snuck down with the other Matthews Elementary kids to high-five the players before they came out! Harper, Catherine and Hendrik were getting ice cream, unfortunately, and missed it.
The Checkers won in overtime. It was fun!
