It has been a busy couple of weeks as the end of the school year always is. There have been a couple field trips for Harper, teacher appreciation week, a soccer tournament, a curling tournament, Mother's Day events and birthday parties.
Harper's grade went to the Panther's stadium to welcome a new draft pick.
Alex was able to eat lunch with the kids a couple weeks ago. The kids and their friends are always entertaining!
Who is this teenager helping with the cooking?!
Harper's soccer tournament started a couple weekends ago. Lisa came into town to see both kids play their games. Alex's parents have also been present at all the games!
We were able to bring Lisa to catch one of Alex's curling matches!
Sushi for dinner!
We had brunch at Camp North End before Harper's final game last weekend.
I went to Muffins with Mom this past Friday at the kid's school.
He was not happy to have muffins with Mom.
Harper had another field trip to Top Golf. It involved "math".
After the field trip, Alex took the kids for an early release day and got them ice cream.
Harper's team had their final tournament game this Saturday. They won the game and won the championship!
Ethan went to a birthday party at a Charlotte Knight's baseball game on Saturday afternoon. It was a superhero game so they got signatures from many superheros on their baseballs.
On Saturday night, we went to an end of season party for Harper's soccer team. Their beloved coach is moving out of state next month so it was a bittersweet goodbye.
The coach always gives a speech for each individual kid at the end of the season. Harper won the Midfield Magician award.
We are very thankful for all of our coaches. Coach Matt will be dearly missed next season.
