When Life Gives You Lemons...

We bought a juicer!  After watching a documentary about the American diet and obesity epidemic, I became interested in the benefits of adding juiced fruits and vegetables to my diet.  Alex and I certainly do not get enough servings of these important food groups, so we decided to try a different approach.  The juicer is a blast to use and makes the most amazing juice.  We started off with just fruits and are now juicing all types of vegetables too.  It was a great investment in our health!

This was our first time juicing a vegetable.  We used carrots, ginger, lemon, apples and oranges.  It was my favorite so far!
