Alex's Grandad was in town this past week for the Charlotte AutoFair 2014. The AutoFair is the largest collector vehicle event in the Southeast and takes place on the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Grandad drove down from Michigan to be a judge in the event. We enjoyed having him in Charlotte and were able to spend his 77th birthday with him! The weather cooperated this week and we showed him just how wonderful the South can be!

Alex was able to attend the AutoFair with Grandad's free passes.
We took Grandad out for some authentic southern barbeque at Queen City Q.
We went to Hickory Tavern for Grandad's birthday then over to Amelie's for dessert!
Happy 77th birthday!
Grandad stayed with us Saturday night and we had our first cookout of the year!
