We went to the Carrington Farms Quarry today. I have always wanted to go here and it is only thirty minutes from Charlotte. We were nervous because it was supposed to be overcast and only in the mid seventies, but the sun came out and it ended up being close to eighty. We had a great time and will be back!
It was beautiful!
Alex and I had to pass a swimming test to go in the water without life jackets. We had to jump off a rock, tread water, then swim over to the ladder. I was shocked initially at how cold the water was!
It was warm in the sun. We had lunch at the quarry.
Harper did a lot of swimming.
Next time, we will bring our own floats!
