Ethan's First Road Trip

We drove over to Cary for a few days this week to get a change of scenery.  Both kiddos used the drive as nap time, which was perfect.  We had a nice time visiting with family and spent one of our days at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.

Grandma and Ethan

Waiting for a tornado to form.  I spent a lot of time at this museum as a kid and loved this exhibit!

Learning about clouds!

Harper thought this owl was very cute.

Harper was very excited for the train ride around the museum.  She rode it twice!

Teresa and Jeff met us at the museum!

We loved the dinosaur walk.

We also met up with friends from Charlotte who recently moved to Durham.  Harper was very excited to see her old pal.  They spent one day swimming together and the next at the museum!

There was a massive treehouse outside for the kids to explore.

I slept on this space capsule during a Girl Scout event when I was younger.

We launched paper airplanes,

Flew parachutes,

And learned about satellites.

Harper's favorite part of the museum was this pterodactyl toy!

They have been inseparable!
