Alphabet Boot Camp N-S

We had more fun with the alphabet last week.  It has been nice for me to watch Harper get so excited about learning.  Hopefully some of this will stick!

N is for noodle necklace!

Nighttime

Ninja turtles

Alex decided to make his own noodles for dinner on N day.

They were amazing!

O is for octopus with all eight legs at the bottom of its body.  Harper decided to wear her Belle dress a second day in a row.

On and off

Harper taught Ethan about on and off.

We took advantage of water density to make the five layers of the ocean using different liquids.

Harper's favorite O activity was the obstacle course.  She was out here for over an hour playing!

She did it!

P is for pig.

Pepperoni pizza

Puppets!

Harper put on a puppet show for us after dinner.

Q is for quicksand made from cornstarch and water.  Harper liked playing with her dinosaurs in the quicksand.

Quilt

Queen Elsa's frozen castle

We dissolved the frozen baking soda and water castle with colored vinegar.

R is for ring.

We saw many rocks and roots on our hike.

Road

In our neighborhood at home, people have been painting rocks and hiding them along the walking trails during the pandemic.  Harper was very excited to paint some rocks of her own.

S is for strawberry.

We made a sun dial.

Luckily, we had the sunniest, most beautiful spot for the sun dial this weekend!

After the long drive home, the kids had ice cream sundaes.
